Summer Glau was an American actress who is known for playing River Tam in Firefly, an award-winning television show. She also played Cameron on Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Also, she has appeared on Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck, Hawaii Five-0 and The 4400. She has also acted in TV movies and shorts including Mammoth the Initiation of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon and Help for the Holidays Dead End and Inside the Box. Glau has won numerous awards and honors. FHM has included her in their 100 Sexiest Women of World list twice, and Wizard magazine included her in their Sexiest Women of TV. Maxim has also included Glau as an American on its Hot 100. Glau received with the SFX Award Best Actress Award for Serenity. As a tribute to her performance on Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles Glau was awarded the Saturn Award. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Selena was the eldest of three children born to Marcela and Abraham Quintanilla. Selena's professional career started when she was eight years old. She joined a father-formed band. Selena performed as the lead guitarist of the band along with her older brothers Abraham junior on base and Sister Suzette performing drums. Selena acted as the vocalist. Selena Y Los Dino was the name of her band and Selena was a singer with other siblings in bars, restaurants and at wedding festivals. Selena's siblings were not able to enjoy a good childhood and they did not have a good childhood because the band took up lots of space and time. Their father Abraham, however, encouraged his children to pursue their dreams by encouraging them. Abraham senior, who was also in Los Dinos' original band was a guitarist. Selena Y Los Dinos officially was formed in 1981. The family business was called Selena Y Los Dinos which was the primary source of income for the family. Quintanilla was determined, even though being a poor financial situation in the beginning. They continued to strive toward becoming a winning family group. Selena Y Los Dinos, a band that gained popularity in Western States by around the turn of the century was the result of their perseverance. In 1986, the group got their first taste of success in the form of Selena received awards for Female Vocalist of the Year and The Best Performer Award during the Tejano music awards. From that moment on Selena Y Los Dinos were among the top performers year after year and gained notoriety and fame. There were many Spanish television shows that were based in Spanish like El Show De Johnny Canales every day in Domingo (Saturday night Gigante) and El Show De Johnny Canales always on Sunday were featured.
